6.0 bored 60??Overheat??
I have a 6.0 iron block which was bored 60 over . Will it over heat in daily driving conditions , I have a BECOOL radiator. Will i need a after market water pump to keep the engine cool. Motor has a MS4 and ls1 heads bored port/polished. Please someone help me im about to put the motor in very soon thanks .

What I would do first though, is do a sonic test on your block. I have found that MOST iron 6.0's have no problem going .060, but with core shift and all, I would sonic it just to be safe.
Some will argue this, and depending on who you ask, but "the overbored block runs hot" is an old wives tale.
While I personally can not prove it one way or the other, I can say that I have run some pretty thin cylinder wall blocks (I come from teh SBF camp, and their cylinders are paper thin to begin with) and have never had overheating issue's.
This subject was also brought up in one of the "Big 3" mag's (Hot Rod, Car Craft or Popular Hot Rodding, not sure which) not too long ago, and most agreed that overboring a block had NO affect on overheating.
Just food for thought...
