Default What pin on hood?

Wondering what pin on hoods people are using on 93-97 TAs? Im looking for something nice n' light that I can lift off myself (Im 5'6 and 110lbs). Wanting something that'll be easy to remove when at the track, or when working on the car.

Also, what hood pins are people using? I love the look of these hotchkis ones: http://www.hotchkis.net/quick_releas...d_pin_kit.html but my god are they ever pricey!

Most pin on hoods use Zuse Fasteners, or are you looking at a cotter pin type set up. Are we assuming no hood hing and its completely a "lift off" hood??

If So VFN makes a awesome one, The one have personally held was their updated 98+ WS.6 style with the nicer slope.

They dont have a pic but they have a 96+ Ram Air Style LT1 hood.

Cool thanks... hmm the site wont work for me?

Fully pin on, no latch. Wondering about locking hood pins though, I've heard you need to still run a latch with them because they're not as trustworthy?? I need something that'll lock up. The car isnt a daily, but I do drive it around town a lot in the summer, and want to be able to park downtown without worrying about some dumb kids trying to steal my hood.

Works for me, I just checked. As for needing to run a latch, I cannot say but I wouldnt think it be a bad thing.
