Default Trans Break?

my z06 is getting an auto conversion right now and im thinking of putting in a trans break. how do you guys think it will perform with the 4l60e and an irs? is it as hard on the drive train as dropping the clutch? what is the proper procedure of staging/launching with one (car will have a 2-step)? thanks.

A transbrake in a 4ljunkie? That would turn into more of a trans-broken LOL.

If you were going th400, or a 4l80, then yes it would be a good idea. 4ljunkie, no way is that gonna take the abuse of a brake, if anyone even makes one.

it's abotu as hard as dropping the clutch too, so chances are the vette suspension half-shafts and what not won't care for that much.

yea they do make one. east coast supercharging is doing the swap for me and they said it will hold. im more worried about the drive train, that is the reason i got rid of the 6 speed.

I wouldn't put a transbrake in one of those transmissions. They can't take the abuse of real power as it is, put a brake in one, that thing isn't gonna be happy for long.
