Exclamation Piston to head clearance question

What do you guys think piston to head clearance should be? On my small block with forged pistons, stock rods and iron heads, I'm running.037" with no problems (shifting at 6000 rpm). I''ve got my BB 454 at the machine shop now and I need to give them a clearance. KB has some funny piston to wall clearances but I'm using their recommendation of .0055". I drew up my pistons and cylinder using AutoCAD setting my piston surface .005" down the hole. With piston rock, one side will stick up above the deck .0022". Here's what I'm coming up with:

With .040" thk. gasket, piston-to-head clear = .0378" at full rock (10.595 CR)
With .045" thk. gasket, piston-to-head clear = .0428" at full rock (10.478 CR)

I'm using Eagle H-beam rods and will probably shift around 6500-6800 rpm.

Quench height is typically builder preference.
I personally don't go tighter then .035" in an N/A application.
Both of your choices of .037" and .042" in my opinion are acceptable.
