turbo ta traction issues....vid inside
any pointers would be appreciated, i do know i need a LOT suspension mods, just trying to make it work with what i got, i haven't had a lot of seat time since i keep getting kicked out of the track every time for no cage:
car is full weight, still has a/c, power steering etc.
its a hke 408 ci iron block
precision turbo pt88-47, with a-a intecooler
rossler turbo 400 with a brake
rear moser 12 bolt with a spool 3.08 wear.
madman TA
wolf anti roll
lca, bmr brackets
bmr ph bar
hotchicks springs all the way around and stock shocks.
1st visit to the track was able to get a 6.29 with a 1.49 sixty at 117mph, that was on 14 lbs on pump gas, on a 26in et streets.
2nd trip, change tires to a 28 in et street tire, just couldnt get the thing to hook at all, changed position on lower control arms from bottom to middle hole, play with tire pressure from 10psi all the way to 14psi, lowered the 2 step to 3000 rpms, about 5 lbs of boost. here is a quick video from second trip.

Some double adjustable shocks should fix your traction problems. In the very least, double adjustables out back and single adjustables up front w/ the correct coil-over spring rate, and we should be able to get that thing atleast consistent and hooking. Give me a call if you're interested in getting some shocks. We can get you either AFCO or Strange shocks, which are the best two for drag racing and aren't too expensive like the Santhuff's. Our phone number is 225-673-3533.
