60 fts. arent up to par, whats wrong and how can I improve?
I know I shouldnt base my times on others, but I see too many people with the SS4000 pulling mid to high 1.5s. The best Ive cut is a 1.62 and that was in decent weather. My best 60 ft. was accomplished my first time out with the auto. Since then, Ive removed the front sway bar, rear seat and belts, BMR tubular k-member, BMR upper and lower tubular a-arms, Hawker battery, and swapped the old ASP pulley to the new style, but I have not seen any improvements other than picking up 2 mph in crappy weather. How can I get into the high 1.5s? Ive tried so many different combinations from different setting on the Hals, different tire pressures, different rpm launches, etc. As Ive said before, Ive seen others pull mid to high 1.5s with the same converter and 3.23s!!! Any help is much appreciate. Thanks.

Ive posted this in the past, but really didnt get much responses. Tires, gears, etc. is pretty much the answers that I got. Im running 26x11.5x15s on 15x10 Bogarts and they have about 20 passes on them. I dont think I need to upgrade to drags because there are more powerful and faster cars out there using ET Streets. I know that I need a bigger gear, but Ive seen others do better with 3.23s. So with all of that in mind, what other suggestions do you have? Thanks.
