SS4000,new best today. no traction!!
I just got home from opening day at Stanton and ran a new best with my new vertor SS4000. On dr's i pulled a 1.7 60ft and ran 12.5@108.
No traction available what so ever, everyone was sliding around today. A nice toasty 39 degrees out with a light 15 mph breese too.
I could not find any traction no matter what i did, tire pressure, launch rpm ,how much,or little i heated the tires, best time was from idle and very slowly rolling down on the gas.
My old vertor Vig3600 could not turn the M/T E/T streets all motor once heated, and pulled a best of 1.72. So with the E/T's i am going to be able to up my launch rpm and shoot for my goal 11's with stock internals and full weight too boot. Wish me luck.
I dropped .25 in the 1/4 and gained 2 mph in the 1/8 from last year, but i also found i am down on power in 2nd gear about 5800 rpm's,car just lays down and picks up after the shift. Only in second gear. NOT t/m,Predator base tune took care of that! Might be valve springs(45k of nitrous use on stock springs).

On E/T streets,dead hooking.
Car would not 60ft to save it's life before and now it needs lots of help finding traction.
new slip
1.72
7.9@87
12.50@108
all on Dr's and a slippery track. Shows lots of promise.
Also still untuned.
