Default First Run In My Car

2.123 60 FT
5.777 330 FT
8.204 ET @ 594 FT
8.729 1/8 ET
85.57 1/8 MPH

Ran it 4 times at the US19Dragway in Albany, GA. This is on my automatic 1998 B4C I purchased a month and a half ago. Only mods are K&N Filter and a Hooker Catback. Tire were Kuhmo Supras, 275/35/18 with 25lbs psi. I wasn't leaving hard, and I am not familiar with the auto. I was just leaving it in regular drive and leaving just above idle. Is this a good time for a stock car?Any comments or sugestions?

I would think those times are okay.

I ran almost those exact times a couple weeks ago and I'm completely stock down to the paper air filter.

Not out of line, but put some air back in those tires.
I ran mine at 30 psi ,check our tire foot print by doing a nice little burnout and see if all tread blocks are touching the ground.

For compairison i ran 1.99 60ft
8.5 @ 84
13.24 @ 104
dead stock .
Nice job, just get a little better 60ft and that is a real good RT.

Nice runs for your mods. Not bad on the tree either.

Practice is the key.

Thanks for the input. Here is one of my other runs:

2.107 60 ft
5.773 330 ft
8.189 et @ 594 ft
8.711 1/8 et
86.22 1/8 mph

That was my best mph and et of the night, but not the best in the reaction. I am guessing that is a high mph for that time. The same for the other run, is my mph letting me know I have more potential?

I would say you have lots of potential left.
I just did a 7.8 @ 87 1/8 with sticky tires and a stall.
Time to start moddin your car and find some traction.
Congrats
