Default New "altitude" best for the Blue Meanie, Kook's 1 7/8" first test.

Car is a stock engined 2002 Z06 with Kook's 1 7/8", CAI, tuning, tires, and 4.10's (didn't make the car quicker). Full weight + 275lb driver + 40lb safety equipment (rollbar etc).

Ran Las Vegas yesterday in the Corvette Challenge. Track in 2200' altitude, temps in the mid to high 90's. One of my fellow racers had a computer and it said 5100' DA, but I don't know.

Previous best at 600' altitude, 90 deg weather - 11.88@116 Pomona Raceway before headers (2 weeks ago).

Las Vegas:

R/T - .566
60' - 1.615
330' - 4.878
1/8 - 7.589
mph - 91.13
1/4 - 11.898
mph - 115.16

Looks like 20rwhp from headers. But the same ET?? The Visa Giveth, and the Desert Taketh Away. The other Corvette Challenge racers were running about 1/2 off their sea level times, and the same as LACR.

In other news, some guy with ***** the size of grapefruit ran a Polaris Snowmobile to 9.5x at altitude, sitting 10" off the ground. Thumbs up to anyone that f**king crazy.

must be hard to sit on a snowmobile with ***** that big

It does appear the altitude ate up the HP gained from the headers, I bet you'll reap the benefits when you get back to where you normally race.

Nice work
