I like it! It beats the ever so common SS spoiler. Just my opinion.

If you end up taking it off, I'd be game to buy it.

I'll bet it is costing you.

EdgeHawk took the stock spoiler off his FireHawk at the track and picked up around .05. He did 2 - 3 passes on and 2 - 3 passes off and it was consistent gain from not having the spoiler on the car.

TA kinda looks like a ford probe from behind w/o a spoiler.

So if I ever get enough hp to smoke my tires through all 5 gears, then this wing will be worth its weight in gold

The TF guys have clutches that allow more power to be put to the tires as the down force increases. The power they put down overcomes the amount of drag they create in order to be able to place that power to the ground. The downforce is only good if you have enough power to overcome it. If you watched this last weekend they tried a new MONOWING on the back to decrease drag while keeping the downforce. Even the TF guys are trying to decrease the drag.

Matt, I like the way it looks on our cars. It is worth losing a couple MPH over 120MPH.

dood this is annoy'n. Weesh you would get the story right. Love how you dont mention the other races? I'll start with the dead dig. It was scottsdale rd. and i told u i didnt wanna run. IE scotts rd. Didnt say wouldnt have a chance off the line. Just said didnt wanna race u off the line. As for our race. We raced five times. Joose can vouch, First couple were cause i was boosting enough when we took off. * .5 bar * Anyway you had me by a car and i was AT UR BUMPER. NOT MOVING ANYWHERE. SO we did that couple times and results same. Other times when i was boosting a bar when we took off u had NO JUMP , FROM A ROLL. and dead even till bout 130 and i pass'd you at a stand still till 155 when i let off. Results were same everytime i boosted a bar. But oh i forgot you said ur detonating. ON just a bolt on ls1? how's that? And u had some crazy lite pop up. I was like fine wah ev. ON the way back we went at it again. My lite keeps com'n on when u beat me. Go figure huh? "my car isnt consistant." its n/a? how is it not? Kinda annoy'd how you bring our race up on every forum.

hey ralph even call'd you out and you never took it on. It was when troy was out with all the ls1 guys at diablo stadium. He said u didnt want any of it. We woulda got that on tape. But hey he's a full bpu. I just have a DOWNPIPE <------- thats not full bpu.. so quit say'n i am. Really dont care who wins or not. Just least give the rest of the story. Just sounds like every post i read bout you and i was so lame excuse why i won. Its ok, not that big of a deal. So i won, life goes on. If you want go buy some NAWSS..

and i havent touch'd my boost. *1.1 bar*

I did it!

I was running at cecil and ran a best of 12.77 with a DA of -950'.

I took the spoiler off, which is a heavy a$$ pig, and ran a 12.70 with a DA of +250'

So with over a 1200 feet difference in DA I ran .07 faster.

To give you an example of a TA spoiler's weight, when you take it off and hit the key on your remote the hatch opens fully on the power of the shocks!!!!

I say "never mind the Nay-sayers. Do your own thing."
