Default 1600HP Rings and ring gap?

Im wanting to figure out what rings to run and what ring gap? I was going to run hellfire steel rings but dontvwant to wear the cylinders out as this will be a street car and drag car. Also what should I have the rings gapped at? Thanks!

Dang man, asking a question like this begs the question of why your engine builder is not gaping the rings for the application, or you lost the paper work from the piston/ring manufacturer that would suggest the proper gap based on your app.

If you really want feedback here, there is absolutely no way for us to even remotely answer your question, with out providing us with bore size, piston design/material, piston ring design/material, fuel, expected power, cooling system, crankcase evac system and the list goes on and on....

Because you didn't provide that, you probably need to seek the help of a actual engine builder and not a forum that caters to about 90% of the community here that don't even make half the power you are shooting for.

Just being honest with you bro.
