new converter (guess my time)
I ordered a sy3500 yesterday im wondering what kind of gains should i expect with it?
With the stock verter, nittos, 2.73's and 100 shot, i went 7.88 with a 1.89 60ft. 91.5 mph.
Any guesses on what the new times will be?

I would guess 4 to 5 tenths on your new setup in good weather. You will enjoy the convertor--it is fantastic at the track. Good luck. <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />

Re: new converter (guess my time)
in the 1/8th on spray u will probably drop 3tenths
1/4th mile gains will be much better though..
u have the potential to get your 1/8th and 1/4th times down to what they are no spray now, just on motor... maybe 8.0-1's at the track or better with headers and gear.
that sy3500 really is a verter for 3.73's cause of its low STR.
just note it takes more HP than before to start dropping tenths when your in the mid 7's.
good luck and heat those nittos up <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> they hook
