Default How to take off the ABS & Traction Control?

I tried to get some info on this in the Handling and Braking section but, no reply. So, I will ask about it in the great Drag Racing section, since this is where Iam at most of the time anyway.

1. Has anyone done it?
2. How hard is it?
3. What do I need to complete this action?(parts)

It does not work anyway. I can use the weight reduction as well. It doesn't work because I have a spool in her.

I also need to take off the cruise control, any help here?

Please help. I want to do this very soon. I need to be in the 10's in summer heat.

Thanks yall.

Coach do you have an ABS pack in your rear? I'm trying to find out if ABS will work with a 12 bolt ABS equipted spool.

Terry,

Yes, I do. It doesn't work on my Hot Rod.

I hope this helps.

Cruise control box is in the driver side fender well under the plastic cover. Mounted in a metal box. I hadn't removed mine but relocated it when I had the supercharger setup last year. I believe it has an electrical connection you need to unhook and just unbolt it. I'd guess its probably around 7 lbs but thats speculation at its finest. Make sure to weigh everything

I removed cruise control, just (un)plug and play.

I want to remove ABS next week, I have been told that the master cylinder has the proportioning valve built in... Anyone?

I will truly drive the car on the street and maybe out of state, I need to know if that works I don't want to crash into stuff.

Cruise control is 5 lbs at most.. I'll try to weigh mine soon.
