Are ET Fronts O.K. to drive to the track with?
I drive with ET Streets on in the rear to the track and they are just fine. One time I got caught in a rain storm with the ET Streets and as long as I went slow, I was fine.
I now want lighter fronts I am on the fence between M/T ET Fronts and M/T Sportsman Fronts. I naturally want the lighter one (et front) but is it fairly safe to drive to the track with them on? Will they pop if they hit a bump
Also, are the sportsman fronts D.O.T. Approved? That might be a consideration as well.
Thanks!!

I've done 60 mile each way trips to the track with ET Fronts on. Never had a problem. I was always more worried about the ET Streets on the rear. I always drove with the fronts at 32psi for the trip to the track and then would pump them up higher at the track to like 40-45psi.

I drive to the track with my ET Fronts on, they are expensive to replace so if you are planning on driving to the track with the skinnies on you might want to consider something alittle cheaper like "bug tires".
