Default Gotta question about my converter

I've had a Yank 3000 for about 2 years now and I'm thinking I need a bigger one. I pull consistant 1.85 to 1.80 with this converter, and I've been very pleased, but I see so many people on here with kick butt sixty's using bigger converters. My question is, how much can I expect to gain using a 3500 or so converter? I like the Yank, and will probably go with another one. I only have a couple of 1/4 mile runs, because my track just now started running 1/4, they've been a 1000' track. Anyway my best motor run was a 12.67 @ 118.6 and Nitrous run was 11.91 @ 128.57. Now, that said, the speed at the track is way off, something like 8 mph fast. There speed is not an average or something, I'm not real sure. They just added the equipment to run 1/4 mile this season, and only for some cars, because of shutdown room. I'm looking for improvement, and was wondering what a new converter would do for me. Thanks

A SuperThruster 3500 would knock .2 - .3 of your 1/4 mile time. You can go even higher stall for more gain, but then you'll need more than nittos to take full advantage of it.

Thanks, that's what I was hoping for. I run Nittos because of the class that I race in, they won't let me run anything more than Nittos. I have a set of ET streets that I run sometimes, when I'm not going to race in class. The only problem with the ET's is that I think the taller profile hurts my gearing a little. With this converter, I don't see a drastic change in 60ft with the ET's, usually only a few hundreths. Where they help me most is running nitrous and being able to spray out of the hole, then I get 1.6 sixty's. I haven't run the 1/4 like that yet.

So with the ST3500 I would be able to keep running on Nittos, and not have any problems? I'd love a larger converter, but my wife drives this car everyday to work <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
