My first Drag! Opinions please...
Well tonight was my first chance to run my new car. 1999 Silver Z28 M6 w/ 36k miles, lid, flowmaster, sportlines, 17x11's w/ 315 nittos (bald). Ive only had the car for 1 1/2 weeks and its my first stick car. well any way. i ran a 13.499@106.49mph, 13.461@106.83, 13.8@105.62(ouch) and finally my best a 13.396@106.69. I didnt do a burnout b/c i dont know how yet . So are these times OK? What can be achieved with a good burnout?, and a better reaction time? and a good 60' time? Can this car run 13 flat?? or will i have to mod it some more? (i will anyway)Thnx for any opinions, tips!!!

Those are very good numbers. You have to think though that your turning those heavy wheels and still running those times is amazing.I would say lighten the car up and get some more seat time and maybe with better weather who knows you may get a 13 flat.I have seen the car turn high 12's stock so it is not impossible.

I have said it all.

Great numbers for not having any seat time! You should be pretty happy with that. First off, you have to heat those Nittos up for them to hook well. Once you get your short times down you'll hit 13 flat I would think. What were your 60' times?
