Default Will the Cannibal ever lose any weight?

Tony, I think it kicks *** your car runs what it does in full weight but I along with others on the site would probably love to see what it would run if you took some weight out of the car.

I think when the weather gets cold again you should take up that offer from one of the guys at MTI and let him take some weight out of the car and shoot for some 9's

Once I graduate you better watch out because I WILL be coming after you and my car will be light as

I drove the car to work yesterday and today. Some new guy has a lightly modified Supra (420 rwhp) and doesn't know much about my car and I'm trying to set up a race with him. LOL!

I may gut the car after the Thunder event in November. I figure I can drop 200-300 lbs easily since I run it with everything down to the floormats inside.

Things to remove/replace:

-replace battery with small Hawker batt. (bought)
-replace K-member with chromoly one
-replace hood with glass WS6 hood
-remove A/C system (temporarily in winter!)
-remove exhaust system down to open headers
-remove passenger and rear seats
-remove front and rear bumper supports

Anyone know how much weight the above items would be?

I think 9s NA in a 6-speed are possible, because I'm only going to tweak more power out of the combo and get lighter. I'd have to do a gear swap or shift into 5th though, I'm already running out of gear right at the line in this heat with my 4.10s

I also have plans for a solid-roller setup and nitrous next season. Might be fun

You wont do it shifting into fifth my son

You need a 28inch slick and you'll be fine. That with the weight reduction and 5500rpm drop of the clutch with winter DAs at HRP would do the trick

Too big a drop off and you will KILL your T56
I killed 5th gear in my SCed ATI Z-28 doing that with 4.10s.
Cheers,
Chris
