1st 1/4 Miles Times, Surprised Some People.
I went over to SGMP (South Georgia Motor Park) last night over in Cecil, Ga, just north of Valdosta. This time I decided to run my car for the 1st time in the 1/4 mile. I usually just run at the local 1/8 mile track (best there was 8.6X's). Pulled close to the same on all 5 runs I did:
Best Reaction: .509
Best 60Ft: 2.072
Best 1/8th Mile: 8.806
Best 1/4 Mile: 13.563
Best MPH: 103.59Mph
That was basically what I was running all night with 90%+ humidity and 90-95degree temps outside. Pulled two .7 reacts, one 2.1 60ft, all 1/8 mile times 8.8XX, all 1/4 mile times 13.563-13.635, and mph got as slow as 102.70 Mph. The rest of slips are really close to my best. This is with my stock A4, stock gears, airlid, and catback only running on 18" rims with Kuhmo 712's. If the weather was better probably would of knocked off .2 of my times. Also they make you drive through the water regardless if running slicks or street tires . I guess that is fast as my car will go with the current mods. Thanks for looking.

Nice numbers.
I'm hoping to get similar numbers once I get a bit more experienced and get my 60ft's to the same level as yours. Mine are currently in the 2.21 range w/street tires.
Then again, I've only raced once so far in my entire life, so I have some catching up to do with most of you guys.
