Default Has anyone run a radial Slick?

I have been trying to find a 30x9x15 slick for about a week now and no one has any? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

My Pops talked to Cater Maxwell in Oklahoma City today and they said that the have a radial slick that most SS/E & S/E guys run. What do ya think? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

I race a 01 Camaro in NHRA stock elim (E/SA)and use the Hoosier radial tire. It is about .05 quicker in 60 ft. time and about a .10 quicker in the 1/4. Plus most guys will use 18# of air or more, makes a stable ride. Hope this helps. Dan

Thanks for the help, Guys! <img border="0" alt="[hail]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" />

Just an update. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

I ordered some M/T #3066ST 30x9x15 made for a stick Hot Rod from Summit Racing(The only pair that I could find in the country). They will be delivered tomorrow by noon to Madman. It looks real good for racing the Hot Rod this weekend. <img border="0" alt="[devil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />

With cost of the work being done on the Hot Rod, these M/T's should work for now. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />

I will try the radial slick next year.(Jan. 2003)

Dydo,
Are you running a A4 or a M6? I would really like to run S/E next year. You and I need to talk. <img border="0" alt="[Burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />
