Will I be able to pull the front wheels?
My best 60' so far has been a 2.0x on 255 BFG drag radials. Since my last trip to the track, I've added Hooker headers, and I'm getting a Vig3600 soon. I really wanna be able to get both tires to come off the ground, just for bragging purposes. I will be getting some 26x11.5x15" ET Drags to replace my DRs. We'll just say my car weighs the same as a fully stock WS6, even though I have done some weight reduction. Anyway, I need to know if the following are MUSTs for me to be able to do it:
Hal front shocks
skinnies
lightweight battery or k-member
drag rear sway bar
I know that the shocks, sway bar, and light front end aren't must haves just to pull a wheel, but I want it to be noticeable and for both to clear. Thanks a lot for any input.

i can pull ONE w/ my current combo of:
lid, LT headers, exhaust, 3400lb raceweight, no suspension mods, convo pro skinnies, 26x10x15 e.t. drags, no front sway bar
that's on a 1.68 60ft. it's only a couple inches, but it's still something

Re: Will I be able to pull the front wheels?
I believe pulling wheels is determined more by how much you shock the car/drivetrain rather than how quick you 60'. Suspension does play a big part of it as well. It also helps to remove as much weight from the nose as possible.
Believe it or not I pulled a tire on my 97 V6 Firebird. My converter hits pretty dang hard. It's a PI.
The harder your converter hits, the better your chances are of lifting the nose.
