Default new best at shootout

Well my first 2 runs at the GAFBA shootout netted 2 new personal bests. I went 13.111 @ 107.9mph w/ a 2.059 60'. The ET was very pleasing but the 60' was the best yet by far. I think I might have this thing sort of figured out finally. Anyway, I know its not a fantastic number but its good enough for me. Wonder if I can get myself a 12 before the season ends - bring on the cool weather - it was still in the upper 70s today - its late October WTF? I think I've got a little room for improvement on that 60. I think a 2.0 with some cooler weather MIGHT just get me that 12 sooner than expected <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

BTW - all my runs were made with the stock Firehawks 275/40/17s. I actually cut better 60s with the tires at normal driving pressure - around 30-32psi. The firehawks don't seem to like anyting less than 30.

I piled a bit of stuff in the dorm allready - I'll have to find some more stuff to take out. Maybe I'll lose the front seat next time and see how well that helps. Raceweight yesterday was 3680 lbs - to much gas.
