Ok Guys Help Me Out Here.
having prablems off the line. The first time I went to the track with my hawk, I ran a 13.54 at 107MPH. I was on street tires and they didnt have much tread on them. my 60' time was almost 3 sec. anyway I went out and bought a set of nitos and went back to the track. I didnt have any prablem with tire spin this time. didnt even chirp the tires, but after the launch it did a noise dive and lost all rpm till it finally got up and went. granted the first time i went was on a cool spring night and the last was mid summer. just wanderin if the nitos are to much tire for my car? the fastest time I got that day was 13.9 at 101MPH and I know it will go faster than that. anyone have any ideas or is it just that my driving sucks.

You must just be popping the clutch. I tach to around 2700 with my Nittos, then dump the clutch with a little slip and give it WOT. Definitely not too much tire for the car.
