A true street car...idles like stock with a baby cam...ran at RCR this weekend....Steve Dumler (sp?)...same car that was in C & D...or Motortrend...article Vette vs Jet ran a couple of low 9's with 1.60 sixties...then ripped off an 8...super high dollar stuff, but super fast.

This is the same 9 second 427TT A/T street Vette that's been making runs this year. It's been in the shop getting a few upgrades, and we took it down to texas this past weekend to try and get into the 8's. It took a few 9-second passes to get it dialed in, but then Matt Hartford, our LPE/Summit team car driver, clicked off the 8.95 @ 153.6 pass!!!
This is a constantly street driven car, with full interior, and approx. 3400 LB. weight.
Now, if we only had an F-body that went that fast................

That is ridiculously cool!
LS1s are first in the 8s in the F AND Y bodies! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />
LPE, you need a F-body volunteer? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
