Default STB on the 1320

I have a friend that tells me it is bad to have my STB when I am drag racing. He states that the car needs to flex a little at least in the front when launching? I am skeptical with the explaination..I understand it makes no gains..actually it adds more weight, but would it affect the launch?

STB means 0, Zip Zilch Nada in the 1/4. The only reason you would want one is if you're having a wheel standing problem and want the extra weight on the front end <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I usually leave it on but he states that the car has to flex a little and with it on there's no flexing...Is he wrong?
