Default Chassie inspection for sub 10 second cars?

My chassie is going to be inspected soon by NHRA. My question IS. Will the NHRA chassie sticker be OK for IHRA too? Or will I need <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> 2 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> stickers?

BTW the cost will be.

Sticker.....$75.00
Inspection..$30.00
The tech inspecter will be coming to my chassie builders shop and he charges $00.30 a mile.

Thanks
Tom

As far as I know a tag for each is required. No personal experience with it, but I have seen numerous cars for sale that are listed with "Certified for NHRA and IHRA". I'd contact your local IHRA Division director and see how you could go about getting it cert'd if its necessary. Normally you can do it at the track, so long as someone is qualified to do it is there... It'll save you the mileage at least....

Good luck!

ITs a chassis car but I think my car has more roll cage than it does. LOL He said he cant take his car to the NHRA tracks because they wont allow the IHRA spec cage. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

Thanks KTamez, MOST of the drag strips in my area are IHRA but I do frequent some NHRA track throughout the year. I did call IHRA several times and left messages. They didn't return my call as of yet. I didn't ask NHRA when I talked to them because I didn't think of it until today.

Anyone know for sure?

Thanks <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
