Problem with 9" any insight?
Ok I have a moser 9" while the car was down for the winter I went ahead and had new bearings put on the axles. Well before I pulled them both of the bearings stuck out a little bit, well after I put the axles back in with the new bearings one side stuck out and one set flush with the housing. Well the problem that comes up is my strange brake brackets have a groove machined in for the bearing to stick out a little bit. If I was to bolt the bracket up on the side that the bearing was flush there would be a ton of play for the axle to move around. Has anyone else had this problem both sides look the exact same.
Thanks
Sean

I had a problem with bearings that stuck out too far...I ended up calling Moser and getting the right size so that BOTH sides didn't stick out and it was fine then...if one side sticks out like they do in an LT1 setup....well then in your case you will have alot of problems with diff fluid and **** leaking out the sides all over the inner wells and rims....sucks <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />

That is pretty shitty, I need to call Moser and redo all of the bearings in my rear anyway, but mine has been steadily leaking for a long time now.
