Which D.O.T tire is better
Am I better off going with a 28x11.5x15 ET-Street or an Hoosier quick time pro tire 28x11.5x15. The only reason I want to run an DOT tire is because I am going to enter the Pure Street class in the North-v-South shootout.
Which tire do you feel would give me the best hook? ALso has anyone tried to fit an 28x12.5x15 tire under there car ???????

Re: Which D.O.T tire is better
i currently have 28x14.5 QTPs under mine. i have also used various ET street sizes. due to my changing combos and different tire sizes i cant really give an answer as to which will hook better, but i can definitly say my hoosiers hold up MUCH better on the street. they wear a lot less than the ET Streets. i have a spool which tears up slicks pretty fast on the street FWIW

Re: Which D.O.T tire is better
There is only one kind of QTP
QTP= Quick Time Pro
its the normal Quick Times (non-pro) that are like the Mickey Thompson sportsman pro tires. the normal Quick Times and Sportsman Pros dont even hook as good as a drag radial, and wear out even faster than an ET Street. junk
