What will it take? My car is a stock 98 Z28. I was wondering what it would take to be able to beat an SS also what it would take to get my car into the 12's? By the way it is a M6. Thanx for your suggestions.

Re: What will it take? Is the SS the same year and tranny as yours? Then all it takes to beat it is a race <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> A same year SS vs Z28 and same tranny will be too close to call. Driver and or production variance will win. Add a few thins like a Fast Toys Ram Air kit, exhaust and UD pullies and you will beat a stock SS for sure.
As for 12's depends on your altitude, if you are sea level then the above with good tires and you will be in the 12's.

Re: What will it take? Thw SS is a 00. And i live in utah so i am very high up. How big of a difference would i feel if i switched to 3.73 gears will there be a big difference or what?
