Re: Removal of Passenger Air bag
you gotta pull the dash back far enough or off to get it out. PITA. then you gotta deal with the air bag light or do as i did and take the instrument panel out and still some black paper behind the panel to block the light
i tried doing the 2 ohm resistor thing and it didnt work to get rid of the light.
good luck

The light can be disabled in VERY quickly without going into your dash...takes about 5 minutes. You can disable it by cutting the lamp-feed wire located behind your glove-box.
Its your B1 (brown wire)on the 24 way connector pack located behind the glove box. Just find the wire, and clip it and tape it off.
This ONLY shuts off the lamp on your dash and does not effect any other part of the circuit.
Hope my tip helps you or anyone else out!

My brother ('00 6 speed) changed his steering wheel and tried that and it didn't work, unless he got the wrong brown wire maybe?
