Car Number Question Okay..this is stupid but does anyone know the rules as far as number size etc for race numbers on the windows. I am wanting to put my numbers on perminent..Also can you just pick any number? Any advice on this would be appreciated..Thanks In Advance

For NHRA you must apply for a number after your get your membership. You cannot just pick any number, even at local events. Local race track will gladly reserve a number for you, but it will only be valid at that track and not at other tracks. Number size is 6" tall and 1.5" wide for National NHRA events. For non-National events it can be smaller, each track has it's own size requirements depending on how far away the tower is and where it is located (right of track, left of the track, behind the burnout box). Awsome..I have 3 local tracks and we put are numbers in the same spot, 2 are NHRA and IHRA certfied tracks. I just thought it would be cleaner and easier to do something perminent.
