Default Is a Wolfe 5 point Rollbar IHRA and NHRA legal??

Since so many people have been asking questions about Cages and Rollbars i thought id ask mine.

I am wanting to ad a rollbar this year and i am wanting to go with a Wolfe. I did some searching and i didnt get the answer i was looking for. My question is. Is a Wolfe 5 point Rollbar IHRA and NHRA legal?? From what i can find it says a 5 point is NHRA legal but what about IHRA???
Thanks
Kyle

Yes a 5 point roll bar is NHRA and IHRA legal from 11.499 to 10.00.

Yes but not the Wolfe's if they are still making them the same way. The side bars are too low. I think NHRA wants the side bar to pass down midway through your shoulder and elbow and the wolfe's are just too low, down by your hip almost. (that's how mine were anyway when I had the Wolfe bar in my TA.) Maybe the've changed it since then.

plenty of people pass with a wolfe. If it is below your elbow, maybe you can scoot the seat way back. Or...just order straight door bars w/ removable swing-outs. Just make sure you get the weld-in kit...or get a bolt-in kit with a welded crossbar and welded rear bars.
