Default Any pix of weight removal from Dash area?

I have the dash all out of the way and took out the HVAC stuff. Wondering how much of the actual metal have others taken out?
Any pics?
Did anyone take the metal support off the dash that supports the bottom edge or did you leave that and just hole cut the metal that is between the A-pillars....

You can always get a fiberglass dash from VFN if you want to get rid of the Cross Car steel beam. Fab a few brackets and your good to go if this is a racecar we are talking about. Then you dont have to make close outs for all the holes in the stock dash. Looks like you can adapt your stock cluster to it too if you want stock gages. Im not sure if anyone around here is using one or not but I think the LS1tech series rules just say OEM or "OEM like" dash so it should be legal even for Super Stock
