Default That tme of year again, tire questions

Last year I ran a 275/60/15 ET DR on a 15X10 wheel. Got it to fit good. This year Im wanting to go biger in a DR or a full slick. Anyone running a 28.0/10.5-15 on a 10 inch rim. Also will a 325/50/15 fit under it with a stock width rear? Any suggestions at all appreciated. thanks fellas

You can run a 28" slick on a 10" wide rim and be fine. But if my memory serve me right for a 28" or bigger tire, you may have to roll the fenders to get it to fit. Just remember that a bigger diameter tire is going to reduce your final gear ratio. Unless you are making alot more power than before a bigger tire isn't always better. -Mark

Yeah, I ran a 28 inch tire all year last year. I have a 4:30 gear Ratio, and hoping to make somewhere in teh neighborhood of 650-675 RWHP this year.

huh.. Go buy those et streets, then go full slick. You'll need all the tire you can get with the 250 shot.
