Default Drop Spindles?

Ok guys wat are the benefits of going with a drop spindle on a 4th gen? As far as I've read it's lighter and are made to use the 3rd gen brakes (which are cheaper). but besides that wat are the benefits? Just puttin together my k-member, manual rack, and adjustable arms and was thinkin how nice a drop spindle would be for the car with the weight difference and all. Lets here some opinions. Maybe this is a Madman question? Or some of the other big dogs out there

The only dropped or lighter spindle is made by Santhuff. You will need his uppers and lowers to. If you can afford it then it is the best.

I would say it is really good for a race car. I just put some 2" drop spindles in my car from www.ajeracing.com and it made a huge difference. The entire front plus skinnies made 300 lb difference + ewp and abs delete. Also 6 tenths and 6mph in the 1/4. Not as friendly on the street but not bad. Pics are in my sig. Hope this helps some.
