what size tire do i need to stay in 4th thru the traps? I have a 98 t/a. Heres what i have done now or will have done by spring -- all free mods,K&N, Lid, Bellow, Ported TB, Flowtech LTs, ORY, Magnaflow, UD pullies, Subframe connectors, 9inch rear with 4.11s and suspension and front drag springs. UMI torque arm and a Denny'ss nitrous ready driveshaft (for when i spray in fall) Now, what size tire do i need to keep it in 4th gear thru the traps without a 100 wet shot???? and with the 100 wet shot? all help appreciated. thank you! I want to go with MT ET street DR's

with a 4.11 gear a 26" tire would keep you in 4th going thru the traps on motor.
if you spray it you might still make it thru the traps on only a 100 shot. when M6 i had 4.10's, 26" et street and I hit it with 100 shot and I cleared the traps but it was barely, i was at 7K rpm when crossing, that's higher than I'd sping a stock short on spray repeatedly. You'd probably want to have a 27" tire on there. if you're gonna blast it with more spray i'd run a 28". you'll lose alot of 60 foot n/a but it'll be perfect on a good shot.
