Default Trans Brake

Was wondering what kind of improvement leaving off the T-brake will do. Im currently cutting a best of 1.58 60' off the foot brake around 2100-2400 Rpm on a 4000 stall converter. Im looking into leaving off the brake around 3800 rpm but im still on the stock 10 bolt so im not in a hurry to test it out untill I get a rear. What type of MPH and ET gains can be expected? Thanks guys.

let me try it for ya joe

i think your neighbor is right...with gears and the trans break im sure you could take about 4 tenths or so off of your ET but your gonna need a rear end.

i dunno about taking that much off, i ran 11.52 on footbrake, and 11.43 leaving at 4k on the brake, which was a 1.60 and a 1.54 60 foot times
picked up big time on nitrous, dropped to a 1.37 first time out on nitrous i dunno about using the brake on a 10 bolt.
