launching at the track
what is a good method to launch at the track. does any one use their line lock and rpms @ 3500, if thats done doen't that eat (burn) your clutch up quikley. this is what i was told to do. can any help me......

if you are still on a stock rearend then you will blow it up if you hook at all on a 3500rpm launch off a line lock. with a T56 personally i use the line lock and a 2 step both on a clutch switch so while the clutch is depressed the line lock and 2step are both activated so i can mat the throttle and release the clutch and there she goes. but i'm on a 9" with 3.89s and 26" et streets

huh? go to WWW.WOLFERACECRAFT.COM and look around and you'll see a clutch switch, that would be your best bed.
