Default Clear up trap speed question

Well I hear trap speed is not as affected by conditions and traction as much as e/t is.

Can anyone please explain why you trap about the same whether you spin through 1st and 2nd as opposed to a good launch. I thought about it and i just can't comprehend why it is like that.

your mph is a direct indication on rwhp more than other factors. its kinda weird but its how it works.

Trap speed is calculated at the big end, 1000' to 1320'

All you need to trap well is distance. If you spin during launch you can waste any amount of time without using much distance.

A little wheel spin won't hurt your MPH in most cases. Weather conditions certainly will.
