Critique my launch
My loving and beautiful wife got a video of my second best run at Ennis last Friday. The traction was absolutely aweful, but the bitch actually hooked on this one run. The 60' was 1.753, and I ran a 12.013 (my best is an 11.964, but the conditions were actually worse, just better traction). You can probably tell that when I launch the car I was pretty careful since I wasn't expecting it to hook.
Anyway, I'm looking for any comments/suggestions that anyone might have on the launch itself. I know my shifting is abysmal, just FYI. So, if you have any constructive criticism, let me know. I need improvement!

Mods, I am also putting this in the media section for people to see, but I really only posted the video to get some advice from dragsters. I feel this is the right forum, but move it if you must.

Ditch the 17" wheels out back (at least that's what they looked like). Get some 15" lightweight wheels and some serious tire with more sidewall (which you will get when going to 15's). Then you can side step that clutch and then put it to the boards. Will make for a much harder launch.

yep, little less clutch action, and just let her fly. Also, something small, but you wanna just BARELY light up the second yellow. It looked like you just rolled up until the light turned yellow. For us M6's its super important to get every inch at the beams to give yourself time to get that clutch fully out.
