Default How do I know what converter speed for the track?

I will be running 4:10's, a H/C T-rex setup for the track. Weight loss and all the bolt ons on a 28" slick. I am going to be getting a Fuddle 3500, but I want to send it back to go with something more like a 4500. What do I use to figure out what speed I should go with? I am new to auto's and a TH-350.
Thanks.

I was always told to buy a converter stall speed that stalls to the peak TQ rpm your car puts down. That's what I did. I locked up the converter on the dyno so it wouldn't flash and found out I make peak TQ @ 4800-4900 rpm so I bought a 4800 stall.

Lately I have been seing people using 5500 stalls and I know those setups TQ is peaking before 5500 rpm. So this has got me thinking about going bigger

Can someone shed some light on this subject please?
