What should I do to get my car to hook up

What should I do to get my car to hook up Ok so heres the deal, all my mods are in my sig. Before I put my cam and new tranny in the car it would hook like theres no tomorrow. I never had a problem with hookin up. Now that i have the new cam and tranny the car will not hook at all. 
It just spins the tires until the tranny shifts to 2nd. From what i have read and heard from the local speed shop is that I need to work on my front end set up. I was looking at some QA1 R for the front would this be the way to go. And what springs would i need to run? The only time on the street is when I drive it to the track. Is there any other mods I need to do so my car to hook again. Any help would be great!!! Thanks Logan

Traction! Go to BMR fabrications web site, check out the article by gmhtp in the Camaro suspension section on the QA-1's.The car picked up 4 tenths if I'm not mistaken, with shocks only.That's the set up I'm running,don't have it completed yet so don't know if they work like they say.I hope so!
