Default bad results this year maybe some help?

well i went to the track on saturday, and i was ver dissappointed with the times i am getting so i was hoping for some help or suggestions to try again this weekend.
last year the best time i could get was a 13.42 @ 104 mph with a 2.3 60' time. now this was in stock f1s with about 30,000 hard miles on them so i didn't expect much more out of it.
over the winter i added a bmr torque arm and 315 drag radials and the best that i could muster was 13.378 @ 103 mph with a 2.02 60' time.
i can take out the track aspect of it becuase my buddies 01 z28 on 275 kuhmos was turning consistant 2.0x 60' times and averaging 13.3xx @ 105x mph.
so where is my problem?? am i just expecting too much out of the dr's??
i have looked around and saw something about the fi guys having trouble with knock sensor problems from their exhaust banging around, the reason i mention this is that i have the slp y pipe and i had to do the bfh mod to the floor for fitment issues but it still hits hard a few times during the burnout and on the launch. could it be possible that my knock sensor is picking this up and screwing me??
thanks for any help you guys can give.

What tranny are you runnng?
You can't have any metal to metal issue anywhere or you will loss power due to the knock sensors.

man i dunno but on stock suspension i ran a 1.81 60' on 245/50/16 fuzion zr1 tires. And a 1.64 on et streets so maybe ur running to much pressure or not enough. Maybe not getting them hot and sticky or too hot and sticky. Dunno what mods u have but that seems about right for a stockish a4

thanks for the help guys i am gonna go for a ride with one of my techs today with the tech attached to see if there are is any evidence that the knock sensors are retarding the timing at all. hopefully that is all the prblem is. i know the times seem right for a stickish a4 but the 60' time is what bothers me most.
