Default Bumpsteer Kit help

I have this bumpsteer kit and no instructions....HELP....It has some kind of tapered bushing on the shaft. Does that go on top of or under the steering arm? It won't fit through the hole in the steering arm. Do I need to open up the hole? or is this the wrong end? I am lost

This is gonna sound bad, but I can't find a kit that looks like this. I bought this from an individual about a year ago. (It was new and the guy decided to go in a diferent direction) I got a BMR K-member, Flaming River rack, and bump steer kit..Is it possible that I just need to open up the hole in the steering arm alittle to get the tapered bushing to go up in the arm?

You probably have a standard taper shaft. The factory 4th gen is a metric taper. You will need to get a tapered reamer and open the hole up. Dont just start grinding the hole because the taper needs to be tight.

Thanks Madman..I will get a picture tonight so you can see what I am talking about, I thought that I might have to do something like that, just wasn't sure since this is my first experience with a bump steer kit.
