drag tire measurements
I haven't got much response from this on the wheel/tire forums, so here goes. What size tires for the following:15X7, 15x8, 15x10?
Which combo is the best compromise b/t streetable and traction:15x7, 15X8 or 15x7, 15x10 or 15x8, 15x8 or 15x8, 15x10? Car will be on street only on warm, sunny days. Plan on using MT ET street radials.
Finally, someone help me with tire measurements on drag tires, please. Example-26X10.5-15L or 28X10.5-15L. Break it down for me. what does the 15L stand for etc...I have suspisions, but I want to be sure.
Thanks!

The radials arent listed like that anyway.
For a 15x8 wheel, a 275/50-15 (26" tall) or a 275/60-15 (28" tall) will work. Forget about the 15x7, too skinny!
For the 15x10 wheel, both of those sizes will also work, as well as the 325/50-15 (28" tall).
