ET Drags.... L8 vs L4 Compound
A lot of us use the M/T ET Drags with the L8 compound. Per M/T website it says for general use. But I wondered if anyone has tried using the L4 compound. It says its a softer compound than the L8. My 3yr old slicks have had it so I'm thinking of getting a new set in the L4 compound. Anyone ever used the L4's? Thanks. -Mark

3 years old? I'd say you got your $'s worth from them! Usually the sidewall breaks down before the tires are bare on cars with 1.5 or better 60 foot times.
The stiff sidewall slicks help certain cars, but remember they can "rebound" and not take as much of the initial "hit" like a regular slick.
