**New best with new set up - Oh so close!**
TH350 conversion all complete, fuel system all complete, so the weather was nice and we loaded her up on the trailer. Cartek Dave, Roy, Pete, Max, Brent and myself got to Atco late so we missed time trials. Anyhow, we dialed in a 10.00 and headed for the staging lanes. First and only pass of the day:
Dial... 10.00
R/T... .438
60... 1.48
330... 4.192
1/8... 6.475
MPH... 106.96
990... 8.413
1/4... 10.159
MPH... 133.92
The trans brake and nitrous over powered the tires, the car spun badly through the 60' and even worse on the 1-2 shift. I'm confident that when we tune in the suspension she'll go 9.70's just as she sits. This run was made with a 200 shot of nitrous. A little info on the car:
Cartek built shortblock
stock 346. displacement
forged rods, forged 12.5:1 pistons
stock crank
Comp Cam
Cartek Stage II "X" Heads
TNT wet kit (200 shot)
Fuel system (don't know much about it but it's pretty involved)
Rossler TH350 w/ trans brake
TCS converter
3.73 gears
That's pretty much it, the car is far from light, a good guestimate is around 3550 with me in it, I weigh 265lbs. I'm definitely going to lighten this car up and look to shave off about 100 lbs.
A huge thanks to Dave, Roy and Max for coming out with me and helping setup the car, and to Pete and Brent for moral support!!!!!!!! You guys are great!!! We are gunning for the 9's this Wed. nite at E-Town.

Nice!
A Harlan 2-step is probably just the ticket you need to get the t-brake launches under control.

9s are in the bag next time out! Excellent times, especially for only one pass!
Can you give us anymore info on the fuel system?

Jason, I wish I could but I don'y know much about it except that the stock tank is sumped, and there is an adjustable FP regulator under the hood. When the nitrous is armed, a seperate fuel pump is activated.
