Default first time at the track.

well it's the fist time i've ever been to the track. well my car is bone stock and my best slip reads as is
r/t. 956
60. 2.209
330. 6.004
1/8. 9.046
mph. 80.96
1000. 11.566
1/4. 13.804
mph. 104.15
i ran three low 14 sec passes and three high 13 sec passes due to napping at the line. so my best question is how the hell do you launch a m6 on 245/45/16 street tires. is this a normal time for a stock ls1? the next time i go out i should have my stealth air box k&n and ftra hopefully that helps. any pointers on launching would be great.

A4 or M6? I think the "normal" bone stock time is around a 13.50. Some drivers with stock cars have gotten them to go as low as 12.9x. M6s will trap around 106 stock A4s around 104. The '01&'02s are a lil higher.

Dont get discouraged by the times posted on this board. There are some real drag-racers here, And even if they are not times posted are usually the best result of 20 or 30 passes.

Your times are pretty consistent with everyone elses. Your 60' should be around 2.0 though. That'll drop you down to around a 13.5 or so. Better driving will put you into the low 13's.

Oh and BTW, napping at the line has nothing to do with a poor ET. RT and ET are independent of one another.
