I have yet to see a bone stock 03 Cobra run in the 12s to date. I know they should be able to do it but I am at the drags every weekend. I've seen them do it with drag radials or slicks but not with stock tires. I have seen several stock stock Cobras hit low 13s and one 13.02. I guess traction is a bigger problem with Oregon tracks than I thought. Has anyone else seen one run good times with stock tires?

The first '03 Cobra I've ever seen went into the low 12's on stock tires. The first night I saw it, it outran a '00 Z28 on the street. The Z28 ran 12.20, and the Cobra put about a lenth and a half on it. Then my fears were confirmed at the track the next night when the same Cobra flashed 12.16 on the scoreboard. The car only had 200 or so miles and was on stock radials. I have seen a couple that couldn't get into the 12's, but I definetely have to blame the drivers there.

At least someone can restore my faith in Physics. I guess everyone has to learn to drive, including me. I guess my @#$ kicking is yet to come but definite.

I saw first hand,sadly enough . a 03 Cobra run a 12.0 at 120 mph with stock Goodyear eagle F1's. He had a pulley,and exhaust with tuning ,was also talking about a progressive 200 shot of nitrous and a different blower. Got my attention. Hope i never run into that dude on the highway. Oh well it only takes lots of money and time to practice at the track.
