Re: 1/4 Mile confused that means that he took longer to react to the light. So you took off first and he took off late. Your reaction time tells you everything. Even though you won the race, his truck is actually faster, he just took longer to take off.
BTW: The clock starts when your car first moves, not when the light turns green.
i.e.: You couldve waited 10 seconds AFTER the light turned green and you still wouldve ran the 13.53, but youll lose the race of course
