Default nittos

How much do nittos have to be broken in before I can get good 60's out of them? Tried my new set last night and was consistently pulling 1.9's. Even put some VHT directly on them.

Thanks

Did you heat the tires real good, and drop tire pressure down . I found that my nittos like 20psi hot and must do a good burnout to heat the tires.

Lower the pressure and get them hot - just like a slick. 20 psi might be a good place to start, but if they don't hook like you want, do be scared to go quite a bit lower.

Good luck to you.

If they were like BRAND NEW (less than 50 miles on them) then there is the chance that they still needed a few more 'street miles' on them to get that 'new tire mold release grease' out of them but often a good burnout will take of that.
